It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I mean does this season not bring the most joy! I often wonder how much more I would love it if I lived somewhere warm and didn’t have to deal with the freezing temperatures! But then again, what would Christmas time be like without some snow?
While getting everything out of storage this year to start decorating, I pulled down my ceramic Christmas village. My mother -in-law bought it for me last year and I loved it so much!
My 4 year old also loved it and would often pull up a chair to reach it and use her little dolls to play with it. She looked at me and asked if she could have her own Christmas village this year and this mama delivered on that!
This was such a simple and fun project! All the houses were purchased at Michaels and ranged from $5-$10 a house. I used regular craft paint and glitter to make them sparkle!
To give it that little Christmas look I found these cute little wreaths at the Target dollar spot along with cute little candy canes and reindeer. Most of those could also be purchased at Michaels as well. A little hot glue and they were all set!
Will you give it a try?
