I’m sure we have all spent plenty of time scrubbing the hard food that clings to the top of the microwave. The sides of the microwave. Let’s not forget the inside door of the microwave. Have no fear, I am here to tell you about the easiest and quickest way to clean your microwave.
I am once again going to turn to my favorite cleaning product. Water and Vinegar!
Honestly, there is no need to ever purchase any other product as long as you have water and white distilled vinegar. It’s an amazing all natural cleaning product so no harsh chemicals. It’s also a deodorizer and disinfectant. There are so many uses for vinegar and there are tons of sites online but here is one that has 1001 uses for it! I personally use it every where. It is especially fantastic on glass. Combined with a microfiber cloth you will never see streaks again! If you’ve ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding it’s like my windex ha ha. I even spray it on my fingers after I mince garlic to rid my hands of the smell. Works like a charm! Now back to the microwave.

All you need now is 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of vinegar in a microwave safe bowl placed inside. Turn the microwave on for 5 minutes. The solution will begin to boil and the steam will help loosen up the gunk while the vinegar will help to deodorize. As soon as it’s done remove the bowl and wipe down with a cloth. No hard scrubbing necessary. All that grease and gunk will literally wipe right off. Easy peasy!
Have I convinced anyone to start cleaning with water and vinegar yet??
