Hello friends! Sorry for being MIA for the past week or so. With Hurricane Irene taking away my power and work starting this week things have been a bit crazy! I always feel like once September 1st hits that summer is officially over and as sad as that makes me I am excited for all things Fall. I can’t wait for pumpkin picking, apple cider, football, chili and all the fun crafts that can happen! Speaking of which there are a ton of link parties coming up in September and October which I am very excited to participate in. I wanted to share a fun little project I did last week while I was shacked up at my cousins house since I had no power. I just took some plain ordinary clipboards that I already had and decoupaged some scrapbook paper onto them.
All I did was lay the paper on top and fold down the edges to give me a crease to cut on. I then painted a layer of mod podge on the clipboard, laid the paper and then brushed another layer of mod podge on top of the paper. That’s all! It was so simple and can make a big difference in any office decor. I’m hoping to finish up a crayon wreath for my classroom door and then I am tackling a coffee table which I am going to turn into an ottoman so stay tuned!
