There comes a time in everyone’s life when we have to close the door to our past in order to open the one to our future. With that in mind, this past Friday I gathered with some colleagues of mine who are doing just that. In order to show them how much they are appreciated and will be missed I helped to organize a little get together which was appropriately titled Happily Ever After. We held the shindig at the beautiful home of one of my co-workers. It was a ton of fun and I thought I would share a few of the pictures. The color scheme that we went with was orange and pink. I personally love these two colors together. They can be seen all over the place these days so why not create a party around them!
All of the dishware kept with the theme.
In my attempt to make it a bit personalized I created centerpieces with mason jars that had labels on them with the names of all the wonderful women who are leaving.
There was a ton of food and drink. Lucky for us the weather was beautiful. It was a really great time!! Now just have to make through 4 more weeks and 2 days till the end of school but who’s counting?
