If you’re a sucker for a good before and after then you are going to love this! We finally finished our hall bathroom makeover! If you recall this bathroom was non functioning, old, and yellow so we gave it a quick refresh with plans to eventually redo it. Well that time is finally here but first let’s take a look at where we last left off!
Here was the space in it’s 1970’s yellow glory.

For a quick refresh we simply ripped some of the yellow tile, painted the walls and replaced the vanity and toilet. Here’s how we got it back to functioning. You can read that post here!

The refresh made a huge difference but we always had bigger dreams for this space and it was finally time to get it done! This project was going to be a full gut job! We were replacing the tub and putting all new tile in. I wanted to add picture chair molding and wallpaper.
The first step was the gut!
Next we added the tub, sealed off the walls and then tiled.

We went with a white subway tile in the shower with a marble accent and small marble hex for the floor.
The plan for the bottom half was adding a chair rail and picture frame molding. I had wanted to make boxes that had curved corners but after measuring it wasn’t going to fit like we had hoped.
I loved the color we painted the room which was Owl Grey by BM but I knew I wanted to put wallpaper up in the space. My goal was to find a wallpaper that was similar to the color but had some texture to it. If you’ve ever shopped for wallpaper you’d know that there are sooo many choices out there but I am so happy I came across the one we used because I am obsessed with it! Once it was applied everything was able to go back in and we officially finished our bathroom! Ha, even I don’t believe that statement…am I ever finished with a space?

What do you think? Bye Bye yellow!
I’ve attached a widget of some of the items in the room!
Our vanity was from Loews, the shower head is from Kohler, and you can find the wallpaper HERE.
What part is your favorite? For me it’s a tie between the molding and that wallpaper!
